This vast forestry land neighbouring a disused army base has long been a favourite for TBEC members because of the shear scope this land has to offer in the past we have had events up to 12 miles long without crossing over itself.

The course is 90% woodland tracks some used some virgin but always winding with a fire track or two to use as the straights and a welcome rest, also on offer normally a couple of big gravel pits and the occasional pipeline!.

Suitable for the more confident novice who does not mind confined spaces or the dark (some areas get very dense) but also a favourite for some championship level riders.

North of Ipswich on the A12

Take the A1152 off the A12 on the Woodbridge by-pass
heading for Bromeswell. Go straight over the traffic lights at Melton, following the brown tourist signs to ‘Rendlesham Forest Centre’. At the next roundabout in Bromeswell fork left. Continue straight on the B1084 towards Orford and after 4 miles turn right on to Forestry Commission road signposted Forest Camping and Rendlesham Forest Centre.

Entrance lane approx half mile up on the right.

Camping
No camping is allowed in the forest itself.

Gralyns Camping, Eyke, Woodbridge, IP12 2QW, will be opening for TBEC members only.

If you wish to camp over you MUST PRE-BOOK with Bev Callaby. NO BOOKING – NO CAMPING. You can do this by telephone: 01920 438674 ask for Bev or email – entrys@tbec.co.uk . Cost is £12 per night, which includes electric hookup, water, showers etc.

There will be NO TBEC booking direct, payment is to be collected by a TBEC member (myself) and all cheques/monies are to be made payable to Gralyns Caravan Park and posted to me, Mrs B Callaby, 7 Whiteley Close, Dane End, Ware, Herts, SG12 0NB at least one week prior to the event.

I will also need YOUR car/van reg no. together with your TBEC rider number (write on back of cheque) so I can eliminate any non payers that turn up!

This new venue to TBEC has the possibility of being one of our most exiting events.
With Masses of land to choose from. It has a good variety of terrain with some big hill climbs, flat fast open fields and good technical woodland suited to all level of rider.
The track will be approx 5-6 miles.

This extreme piece of land has steep steep slopes in and out of woodland with an open motocross track and some fast open flat tracks, this can be a challenging course to ride especially in the wet, track length approx 6-7 miles not suited for the complete novice.

Mixed farm land with 1/3 open grass fields undulating but easy going and 2/3 woodland with lots of very short sharp slopes and adverse camber riding, quite tight and technical in places, track length approx 4-5 miles not suitable for a novice if the track conditions are wet.

The nearest post code is TN15 0RS but this is not the venue, you need to go left off roundabout on A225 Riverhill road towards Hubbard’s Hill entrance on left half way up hill. Look out for the yellow tbec arrows on the roundabouts.

This is a return to this venue for TBEC after many years break. The land is mostly technical woodland with flat crop fields but a good mix for everyone.

This for many the highlight of the calendar, a full time motocross circuit which we are able to use 99% of with vast pasture land winding through three different woods and offering excellent enduro riding for all abilities totalling 6-7 miles, also on site workshop available.

An open rock quarry now used for motorsport lots of extreme climbs and decents incorporating a motocross track and woodland, very very technical track run as a two man team event due to the length of approx 3 miles, not suitable for the novice.

The Club AGM runs along side this event weekend, please come along to support your club and have your say (if you wish) from 4pm Saturday (marquee & bar on site) with Sunday being the main Hare & Hound event. 

This tried and tested old faithful of a venue which has about everything an enduro rider wants on offer, a motocross track, hills, rivers, bridges, fields, wood sections, the list goes on. Always a varied track which rides in all weathers normally 5-6 miles any ability should enjoy this venue which is used by lots of forms of motorsport due to its versatility.

Excellent variety of terrain on offer here with lots of varied woodland tracks rising and falling as you go a couple of brooks all joined with grassy fields and pasture land a small plantation and bomb holes make up this varied 6-7 mile course.
